However, as you read on, it seems that the Chicago-based business has a specific person in mind for the job - Barack Obama.
The role requirements start off by asking for someone with “strong public speaking skills” and “steady disposition, [who] remains cool under pressure.” However, the ideal skills and experiences section soon start to become very specific.
It reads: “Minimum eight years’ experience President of the United States of America or equivalent nation,” “Passed comprehensive healthcare reform” and “Natural born citizen of the United States.” The latter an obvious comical point, alluding to the controversy surrounding Obama’s birth certificate.
If those requirements weren’t specific enough, the job advert goes on to say “the ideal candidate will be excited to travel for work and be a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize” – an award Obama gained in 2009.
The right candidate will be awarded 51% of the company and can set their own salary. Further incentives are outlined in the benefits. They include; “health/dental/vision insurance (while available),” “generous vacation time” and “access to office pantry with unlimited almonds.”
The advert closes with “also, you can be our new Dad if you want (optional but strongly preferred).”
