Your statement.....“Data and employee analytics have also become vital to predicting and mitigating risk, particularly around mental health,” I couldn't agree more!
For many years we have encouraged organisations to carry out a regular (1 year - 18 month) Psychosocial Risk Assessment for Wellbeing/Stress/Mental Health/Resilience which we have incorporated into an accessible package. It has been difficult to sell, as the HSE have not been proactive in implementing the requirement to carry out this process as per H&S Regs 1999 and many employers told us they were afraid of what the might uncover (!).
For those employers who carried out our confidential, on line Assessment, it was an eye opener, as we identified 'hot spot's and 'great spots' in their organisations, thus allowing them to target appropriate interventions in a cost effective manner and celebrate effective strategies with those areas of the organisation that were getting employee health & wellbeing right.
We are developing this tool to measure resilience which adds another layer of vital information towards creating or enhancing a workplace and workers fit for the multiple challenges of modern life
