Plucky jobseeker takes a sign to the streets in order to find work

A plucky jobseeker with high aspirations has taken to the streets with a sign after he ‘hit a brick wall’ with his jobseeking process.

Matthew Lachicorée, a twenty-year old who one day hopes to run a hedge fund or brokerage firm, was spotted outside a central London station with his placard which read: “2nd year Economics & Finance student seeking industrial placement for 3rd year in the investment management or assest management sectors. CV available upon request.”

    “There’ll be hundreds, maybe thousands, of other applicants with the same degree, skills, and experience as you, but no one else has your personality..." He clearly showed personality with this stunt but found no result. However, if he was to record his stunt on Linkedin, he may get better luck. It will show all employers who he connects with that he is determined!
