Recruiters are selling 'unrealistic dreams', says study

Whilst the candidate-driven market requires recruiters to take a revised view of their talent search, securing top candidates in a veritable sea of competing offers can be challenging.

However, according to new research conducted by Thrive Map, some recruiters are potentially resorting to altering job descriptions within the interview process to make roles sound more appealing, even though it is deceiving.

    Maybe "generation z" needs to realise that they have been through multiple stages of interviews with hiring managers. Rather than blaming recruiters for "miss-selling", should they not be doing their own questioning and due diligence when in front of the decision maker? Seems like a complete unwillingness to take responsibility for their own decision making to me!
