Bank of England starts search for new boss

With the current Governor of the Bank of England set to step down early next year, the government has launched a recruitment process for his successor – BBC reports.

After more than six years in the role, Mark Carney is stepping down on 31 January 2020. The role is advertised with an annual salary of £480,000.
