New research from CV-Library has found that the struggle to recruit new talent is ever pressing. This is evidenced by a 4.2% year-on-year increase in the number of advertised vacancies in the first quarter of 2019, while the number of job applications dropped by 4.8%.
The report, which compared data from Q1 of 2019 with the same time period from the previous year, found that employers are struggling to entice workers out of their current jobs and are subsequently pulling out all the stops to increase candidate attraction figures.
