Former employee launches Google doc to recruit laid off staff

Following the news that Uber laid off around 400 marketing staff members this week, a former employee of the company has since created an open Google doc in a bid to help people find work.

Michael Houck, an Airbnb Product Manager who spent two years at Uber Eats, the ride hailing app’s food delivery arm, wrote on LinkedIn: “To my friends in marketing at Uber: If you were impacted by the layoffs and are now looking for something new, please reach out to me.
