Ryanair cuts Michael O'Leary pay in half

Ryanair’s CEO Michael O’Leary will take a 50% pay cut and take home less money in bonuses, according to an annual report published by the firm.

The Irish Times reported that O’Leary pocketed £3.4million (€3.73million) in the year to March 31 2019 – which included his basic pay rate, bonuses and share-based payments  – however his pay cut will only see him taking home £458,000 (€500,000) and a bonus to a maximum of the same amount.
