James Caan shares 'real concerns' for recruitment

As employment remains at an all-time high; recent figures shared by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that the UK employment rate hit 76.1% for April to June 2019, recruiters and employers are faced with a number of new factors in their bid to attract and retain talent.

While these figures are welcomed and encouraging to see amid economic uncertainty as Britain prepares for its departure from the EU in October, employers and recruiters have had to evolve to meet the needs of a modern workforce. For example, offering employees more flexibility and company perks has proven to be a positive method to hook new talent, as 84% of Millennials revealed that they want more work-life balance in a recent study by FlexJobs.

    Much of what Caan and the article says is right but Recruitment is no longer the problem.

    The problems are Retention and Churn, which makes money for Recruiters but does not always help employers.

    As for Diversity, I can only say Debut.
