With AI and technology moving at an alarming pace, it is unsurprising that employers are starting to turn to virtual assistants to aid the recruitment process for a variety of reasons.
The latest firm to hit headlines over its technological recruitment shake-up is the fast food behemoth McDonald’s who has partnered with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to make the hiring process easier and more streamlined for both jobseekers and employers – Biz Journals reported. The news comes as the food chain is looking to recruit circa 1,000 employees in Phoenix by the end of the year and aims to speed up the process entirely.
