Whilst 2019 research by Zety found that candidates feel most comfortable when dealing with a human in the recruitment process, the progression of artificial intelligence (AI) in the recruitment industry is progressing fast, and in certain companies, such as Unilever, the technology is already replacing humans at an alarming rate.
In a recent discussion with The Guardian, the multi-national corporation claimed that it managed to actively save around 100,000 hours of human recruitment time last year by deploying its own in-house software to analyse video interviews.
