The spate of recent IR35 disputes has gained another case, as TV presenter Helen Fospero became the latest broadcaster to defeat HMRC in a tax tribunal carrying £80k in liability.
Fospero, who is best known for her work on the popular shows GMTV, Daybreak and Lorraine, and who currently works as a reporter on Watchdog and The One Show, successfully appealed against a deemed tax bill totalling £80,000 concerning her limited company, Canal Street Productions, and ITV during the period of the 2012-13 and 2013-14 tax years.
