Female Board members still rarity in Europe

New research has found that while women make up one-third of executive Boards, they only occupy a minority of leadership roles among Europe’s largest firms – Reuters reported.

The study, which was conducted by the Association of European Women on Boards, disclosed that just 28 women lead companies in Europe’s STOXX 600 Index and only seven per cent of those firms boast female Board chairs.
