The illness, which has currently killed over 130 patients and infected over 6,000 according to the Financial Times – with a further 9,000 suspected cases being investigated – originated in the Chinese province of Wuhan, and is causing concerns due to its impact on the respiratory system. And whilst strict quarantines are being imposed around Wuhan and other highly-infected areas, 16 other countries have been added to the list of locations in which Coronavirus has been identified.
