Despite the importance of open communication between those at the top and their direct reports, new research has highlighted a stark disconnect between employees and top bosses. According to research from Unit4, more than a third (36%) of UK employees say that they have never had any contact from or with their CEO. Interestingly, less than half (42%) of employees had met with their CEO in a 1-2-1 type situation.
