According to ONS research, one in three workers are in a job that is unsuited to them.
This could be based on qualification, competence, experience or even just cultural fit. And whilst this number alone is worrying, thanks to the vast infinity of jobs boards, and the current candidate-centric recruitment climate, it’s still dropping. In fact, in the three months from December to March 2019, the percentage of those in employment that suited their skillset and cultural preferences was the lowest for more than a decade at 68.7%.
