Adapting to a life of remote work has been difficult for both employees and employers. This new way of working came into effect almost overnight, forcing the most traditional of employers to embrace working from home and trusting their staff to get on with their jobs. Despite this, statistics have indicated that some staff may not be as switched on at home as they would be in the office, which has led to a growing lack of trust among employers and employees. For example, a poll carried out by Mind Gym found that a quarter of employees have admitted to getting away with more than two hours less work each day while working from home.
