Foreign recruitment drops 30% in light of Brexit

The number of UK companies looking to recruit foreign candidates has fallen by one third, following the UK’s decision to leave the EU.

A report, from recruitment firm Hired, has found that one in four firms made offers to foreign jobseekers last year, compared to just 18% the following year. 16% of candidates accepted initial offers from British firms, at the start of 2016, whilst just seven per cent of foreign employees accounted for the candidate pool the year later – iNews reports.
