Rio Tinto identifies Mick Davis as front runner for Chairman

Rio Tinto is on the hunt for its next Chairman. The Anglo-Australian miner has said it wants to name a successor by the end of the year and has identified a front runner.

Mick Davis, the former Head of Xstrata, has been announced as a potential replacement of former Chairman Jan du Plessis, who joined the BT Group this year – The Financial Times reports.
