Okay, so some recruiters have been saying the CV has been dead for years. With automatic applications via LinkedIn, job boards and Tinder-style job apps challenging the paper-based status quo, some put the CV in a shallow grave a long time ago.

So, it won’t surprise many to find that another CEO is saying that the CV is at the end of it’s lifespan. Yet, is he right?

    Zzzzz.....the resume is dead. The Job Boards are dead. Recruiters are finished.

    We have heard it all before. But CVs, Job Boards and recruiters are all very much alive and like most elements that are core to an industry - they evolve and get better.

    If anyone fancies to wager a fine bottle of wine on the CV still being alive and kicking in 10 years then bring it on.
