Leading interim search firm Odgers Interim has branched out into a new sector of industry in response to market demands.
The firm will now cater to the oil and gas industry, having appointed a new specialist which over eight year experience in the sector.
Terry Noble has experience working such companies as BP, Shell, Scottish Water and Bibby Offshore.
Grant Speed, Managing Director at Odgers Interim, commented on the new venture, saying: “Most businesses in the oil and gas industry can’t make future promises based on current balance sheets, and temporary strategic appointments are increasingly the solution.
“Terry has a vast range of contacts and a depth of sector knowledge to help them take a long term view and make decisions to build stability.”
Noble added: “With a backdrop of low oil prices, coupled with political upheaval in the UK, investor confidence isn’t a feature of the market at present. Despite this, the oil price is creeping up slowly, and we’re working with leaders across the industry to build teams that can tackle these challenges head on.
“Businesses will demand a lot more of their partners, and we are best placed to provide the specialist support that management teams need.”
