British recruiter eyes Saudi Arabia expansion
A British based recruitment company is making an international push, expanding into Saudi Arabia.
Worldwide Recruitment Solution has won “a number of major client contracts” in the oil and gas sector in the region, reporting that they are handling a number of contracts including “working on urgent assignments to sign over 1,000 Saudi visa holders in positions such as Heavy Equipment Operators, Riggers, Welders, Pipe Fitters and Electrical Technicians”.
“This is a great opportunity for contracts hoping to seamlessly move into a new position. Everything is in place to transfer the contractors over to a multiple NNC clients within the Kingdom, and the positions are open to people of any nationality with a Saudi visa,” Shabana Jawaid, who heads up WRS’ operations in the Middle East, said in the statement to Gulf News.
The announcement comes as Saudi Arabia and many other oil-producing states in the Gulf have looked to cut costs after nearly 18 months of oil prices below $100 (£77) a barrel.
